Leah discovered that she enjoyed being in the spotlight at a very young age. She took the title as America’s Missy Miss Washington State pageant princess in 1999 and has been performing ever since. Her strengths have lied in her strong communication skills. Throughout Middle School, High School and college, Leah exhibited her excellent communication in the form of broadcast. She was the lead news anchor and a sporting events broadcaster.
She also performed in sports. She began playing sports at five years old, earned all-league honors in high school as a three-sport varsity athlete and competed in two years of collegiate volleyball. Education has been an important foundation in Leah’s growth as well. She gained her Bachelor’s in Marketing and a Minor in International Business from Eastern Washington University and is also a Certified Associate in Project Management. These skills have made her an even greater communicator and prepared her to be a professional in everything she does.
Seattle Talent discovered Leah in Spokane Washington in February of 2017. They represented her at IMTA LA January 2018 and the results proved that she was destined to perform. Among hundreds of contestants from all over the world, Leah was nominated Top 10 in five of her eight competitions. Nominations included: On-Camera TV Host, TV Scene/Cold Read, TV Beauty Commercial, Commercial Print, and Improvisation. Leah met Russ, of AA&M Promotions at the IMTA Los Angeles event in January of 2018 and has decided to work with the management team at AA&M Promotions, to help with her career goals in the entertainment industry.
