Mandy is the quintessential Texas girl: she’s the friendly face you trust, the energy that livens the room, and the girl who’s incredibly proud of her roots. If you need a recommendation on where to find the best tacos, she’s already taste tested and approved them. Born and raised in a suburb of Dallas, Mandy got involved in the arts early on. She spent her time acting, singing, and dancing any chance she got. Musical theater captured her heart and consumed her life and training throughout her high school years; performing in and choreographing shows both at her school and community theaters in the area. Mandy was trusted with iconic roles such as Sandy Dubrowski in Grease, Millie Dillmount in Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Elle Woods in Legally Blonde the Musical. She attended The University of Texas at Austin to study musical theater and business. While in Austin, she stumbled upon several film opportunities and quickly fell in love with the process. Los Angeles had been a dream of hers since she was little and she was starting to picture herself living and working in the City of Angels. After graduating in May 2016, she made the trek across the country to see what it had in store for her. Since moving to LA, Mandy has had the opportunity to return to the songwriting scene and is gearing up to record her music. She’s also continuing to fine-tune her acting chops by attending classes, workshops, and seminars around the city.
In her free time, Mandy enjoys hiking, swimming, roller skating, and making new friends. She is excited to be on this new journey in LA and can’t wait to impact people through the art that has impacted her life so positively.
